Ladhiot, Rural Islamabad School – 2012 Update

The school in Ladihot, Rural Islambad was funded and inaugurated by us in 2004. The school currently has 163 students, 43 of which are orphan or very poor and needy (none fee paying) students. The remaining 111 students pay an average monthly tuition fee of Rs 340 ($3.60). Tuition fees collected from students cover approximately 30% of the operating expenses of the school, while the remaining 70% of the expenses are covered by the Qidwai Welfare Projects and Muslim Hands.

The school operates in a rented facility with 8 rooms, with a staff of 12 teachers and 3 administrative employees.
