In April 2013 we celebrated the 10 year anniversary of QWT (previously QWP). QWT funded its first project in 2003 with Muslimhands, UK. It was a school in Sehnsa, Kotli – Azzad Jammu Kashmir.
We celebrated by arranging a small gathering/function at the main cricket ground in Naval Anchorage, Islamabad. The event was attended by our orphan kids, foster parents and a handful of close family and friends.
During the celebration we distributed prizes to twelve of our orphans who held top positions in their classes or board exams during their recent final exams (final year exams are held in March in Pakistan). We also distributed gifts to the foster parents and after school tutors who assisted the kids to achieve these results.
