The school in Sehnsa-Kotli (Azzad Jammu Kashmir) was funded by us in mid-2003 and was inaugurated in April 2004. The school currently has 356 students, 80 of which are orphan or very poor and needy (none fee paying) students. The remaining 276 students pay an average monthly tuition fee of Rs 200 ($2.10). Tuition fees collected from students cover approximately 28% of the operating expenses of the school, while the remaining 72% of the expenses are covered by the Qidwai Welfare Projects and Muslim Hands.
The school operates in rented facilities with 22 rooms, with a staff of 19 teachers and 3 administrative employees.
