QWP donated Rs 300,000 ($3,250) for the furniture of a girls school middle school in Kotla Daha village in Rajanpur, Punjab; a 2010 flood affected area. The donation was used to purchase various furniture including student chairs, notice boards, office tables and chairs.
The school is located in a village which has no other middle school for girls. The school was constructed by Muslim Aid and will be handed over to the local government after a full year of operation in March 2013.
