During the first week of April 2013, Mudaser Qidwai and his family visited the Orphan homes in Islamabad. During the visit they held quarterly management meetings. individually meet each foster couple and addressed issues and complaints of the orphan kids.
During the visit we also relocated our two remaining homes in Rawalpindi to Naval Anchorage. Now we have all ten of our orphan homes in Naval Anchorage, Islamabad. To accommodate the two additional homes we rented two, three bedroom apartments a few streets away from our orphan homes.
During the visit QWT trustees decided to replace a handful of our orphan kids with new kids because of their either them no longer being Zakat eligible or because they were not interested in pursuing education or vocational training.
We also inaugurated a new computer lab in our basement/recreational & education area. The lab has 6 dell desktops.
