We signed a Partnership Agreement with Read Foundation for the construction and management of our new school in Rural Islamabad on April 13 2012.
We entered into an initial partnership of 48 months, with the option to extend the partnership duration with mutual consent in the future. During the initial partnership the first 12 months will be for the construction of the purpose built school building, and the remaining 36 months for the operation and management of the School.
If everything proceeds as planned the construction of the construction should start at the end of next month (May 2012) and hopefully finish by March 2013; that is when the new school year starts in Pakistan. The school will start operations with 7 classes from Lower KG to grade 5, and every year a new class will be added until we have a fully functional school up to Metric (grade 10).
The school will follow the curriculum guidelines of the Government of Pakistan with an extra emphasis on Arabic and understanding the Holy Quran.
